FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING
October 6, 2008
The meeting was brought to order by Supervisor Carroll Parmeter at 7:00 p.m. Pam Altimus, Paul Willliams, Ron Shaver, Carroll Parmeter and Sally Hackenberg were all present. There were ten visitors.
AGENDA
A motion was made by Ron Shaver to approve the Oct. 6th agenda, seconded by Pam, motion carried.
COMMENTS
Gravel roads are looking better.
Paul Williams is running as a write in for the Nov. 4, 08 election.
MINUTES
Paul made the motion to approve the Sept 2, 08 minutes, seconded by Pam, motion carried.
GUESTS
Del Martin who is running for county sheriff introduced himself to the board members and audience. He is running as a independent candidate. Del has been a reserve deputy for fifteen years.
ASSESSOR-Shalice was not present
Sexton-Bill was present and spoke to the board about his concerns with the smaller lots at the Lower Flatbush Cemetery. Carroll said that he would contact Clayton Mohney about how he handled this. The east half of the cemetery has ten foot lots. There was also some complaints concerning the pile of dirt at the cemetery. Week end burial fees are $450, regular burial fees are $350, cemetery lots are $250 for township residents.
Rural Inspection-Tony –there was no permits.
PCB-the PCB received copies of the updated masterplan. The PCB also presented a copy to each of the board members to read by the Nov. meeting.
EXPENDITURES
Pam made the motion to approve expenditures 3052 through 3073, seconded by Ron, motion carried.
ADJOURN
Paul made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Pam, motion carried with the meeting adjourning at 8:10 p.m.
